This policy explains how we create content at Available Jobs and how we keep editorial content independent from advertising.
Our Editorial Principles
- Official sources first. We base our guides on government departments, regulators, official programme websites and other primary sources, and we link to them.
- No invented facts. We do not invent employers, contact details, statistics or quotes. Where figures vary, we give typical ranges and explain where to find current numbers.
- Honesty about limits. If a route is closed, rare or difficult, we say so clearly, even when that is not what readers hope to hear.
- No promises. We never promise jobs, visas, scholarships or results, and we do not use misleading headlines.
- Plain English. We aim for clear, practical explanations that work well on mobile screens.
Research and Updates
Each article shows the date its information was checked and lists its sources. We review guides when official rules change and periodically re-check popular articles. Readers can report errors via our Contact page, and we correct verified mistakes promptly.
Use of Tools
Our team may use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help with research, drafting and editing. All published content is reviewed for accuracy against official sources before publication.
Advertising
Available Jobs may be funded by display advertising, such as Google AdSense. Advertising is:
- clearly separated from editorial content and labelled where appropriate;
- never allowed to influence what we write or which sources we cite;
- not an endorsement of any advertiser.
We do not publish paid articles disguised as editorial content, and we do not place ads in a way that could be mistaken for navigation or content.
Corrections
If you find an error, please email contact@opportuly.com with the page address and the correct information. Significant corrections are reflected in the article’s update date.
